Obituary for Peggy Roberta Littleton

On September 2 the world lost an angel. Sadly, after a long battle mom was done with
the pain. She was born December 12, 1957.
Many knew Peggy asMom, Nana, sister, auntie and cousin. You see that was her
greatest quality. Her heart, compassion, empathy and love. She would always preach family. It
was the most important thing in her life. She wanted the best for every one of us.
To most, family is only blood, but to her, it was anyone who loved her family as well.
She loved get togethers with friends and family to simply enjoy conversation. Whether it was a
cook out or a playdate for the kids, it did not matter.
Her strength and will, will be unequaled. Even after 3 major illnesses, she continued to
fight and smile each day. She is hands down the strongest woman I have ever known. She was
not afraid to cry or mourn but she always seemed to see the brighter side of things.
She had hobbies, she loved crocheting hats for cancer patients; making blankets for the
babies. She loved to paint ceramics and yes possibility her favorite, coffee clutching with the
girls at the table. But in the end it was simply watching the grandbabies play.
But sadly every candle burns out. No matter how big or how warm, their time is done.
While filled with fear and sadness and pain, I would like to remind the dozens of sons &
daughters, and dozens who called her Nana; that she will forever be in your hearts and souls.
Just remember gone, not forgotten. And as she would say, “Ha, joke’s on you, I get to get out
of this hell hole.”
Peggy was preceded in death by her parents, Allen and Vivian Littleton; The Webbs; Her
husband, Gary; brother, David; and sister Josie.
She is survived by her brother Mitch (Paula) Littleton; Sister, Tammy Webb; (The
Webbs); Sons, Cory (Nancy) McCorkle; Craig (Jessica) Littleton; JasonMoore; Daughters, Kay
(Chad) Zarm; and Morgan Hagelin. Her fiancé John Kalata and her most treasured, her
grandchildren; Caleb, Connor, Cylee, Gary, Brooklynn and Priyah. Mind you this does not
include the dozens who knew her as family.
Following Mom’s wishes there will be a small private gathering at a later date.
It is time for you to rest now, Mom. You don’t have to be the rock. When you get
where you are going, tell the family, we all love and miss them. I hope we made you proud and
don’t worry about the girls. I won’t let anything happen to them. Enjoy your wings or
horns…lol… Hugs and kisses from the little ones Nana. You may leave your private condolences for the Littleton family at The Carlson Funeral Home(715-369-1414) is handling the arrangements for Peggy.
