Ronald Oliver Foust, age 72, of Rhinelander, lost his life to cancer on May 17, 2012. He was born November 19, 1939 to Joseph and Margaret(Ralph)Foust in Tiffany Township, Dunn County, Wisconsin. He married Mary Knapp on September 9, 1960. She preceded him in death on October 12, 2005. He served his country as a member of the US Air Force from 1956 until honorably discharged in 1960. Ronald is survived by his children Cindy(Harley) Skinner, of Rhinelander, Rick(Mitzi)Foust, of Augusta, GA and Holly Rose(Scott)Peitsch of Rhinelander. His grandchildren, Erin Skinner (Joe Andersen), Mark(Kristyn)Skinner, Laura Foust, Ricky Foust(Lisa Hillman), Shandi and Skylar Peitsch. His great-grandchildren, Mackenzie Skinner, Ravyn Kuester, Schye, Nick and Logan Skinner, Victoria and Matthew Foust, and great-great granchild Katrina Kuester. Ronald is also survived by brothers, Bernie Foust of Memomonie and Jim(Sue)Foust of Combined Locks, WI; his sister Mary(George) Drew of Green Mountain Falls, CO. many neices, nephews and special friend Jean Dyer. In addtion to his wife Ron was also preceded in death by his parents, brothers Floyd, Jack, and Larry, and sisters Elsie Dahlvig and Jan Hageny. Ron's family and friends were the most important part of his life. He never missed a family gathering. He loved going to the casinos especially his Wendover Jaunts. He enjoyed hunting and fishing, playing a good game of cards, watching the Brewers and Packers, and most of all, watching his grandkids. A good cup of coffee and good conversation would always be waiting for any visitors. Visitation for Ron will be from 9:00 AM until 11:00 AM on Tuesday, May 22, 2012 at the Carlson Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, May 22, 2012 at 11:00 AM at the Carlson Funeral Home. Interment will be in the Northland Memorial Park Cemetery.
