|Ronald F. Wetterau, age 79, was born into God's Kingdom of Power on January 13, 1933, was born into God's Kingdom of Grace on March 12, 1933 and was born into God's Kingdom of Glory on March 28, 2012. Ron was born in Milwaukee to Isabel and Robert Wetterau. He was a graduate of Menomonee Falls H.S. Ron was first employed as a cabinet maker, then a hair dresser and then owned and operated the Clear Lake Inn for 30 yrs. He enjoyed fishing, hunting and family games as well as the Packers. He served his Lord as a faithful member of Zion Lutheran Church as an usher, church councilman, and building and grounds committee member, for many years. Ron was a member of the Rhinelander Chamber of Commerce, the local snowmobile club, and delivered Meals on Wheels.
He is survived by his wife of 47 years, Lois, sons Jon and James, granddaughter Amber, niece Carol Anne Matthies, cousins, friends, and his church family. He was preceded in death by his parents, his sister Arlene Matthies and her husband.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM on Monday, April 2, 2012, at the Zion Ev. Lutheran Church with Rev. Peter Korthals officiating. Visitation will be from from 2:00 to 5:00 PM on Sunday, April 1, 2012 at the Carlson Funeral Home and from 10:00 AM until the time of service on Monday at the church. Entombment will be in the Northland Garden Mausoleum. A memorial will be established in Ron's name and contributions may be directed in care of his family.
