Jeffrey J. Sommers, age 60 of Rhinelander, died on February 29, 2012, at his home. He was born in Rhinelander on June 29, 1951 to Donald and Colleen(Belanger)Sommers. Jeff attended schools in Rhinelander graduating from the Rhinelander High School. He was employed by Daniels/Printpak for 30 years until failing health forced his retirement. Jeff was a lifelong resident of the Rhinelander area. He loved his home in the woods, of which he took great pride in, his dogs, music and playing the guitar. He was an avid golfer who also enjoyed riding his Harley Davidson. He is survived by his daughter Sara Sommers of Grafton, WI, his son Andrew Sommers of Rhinelander and his brother Steve Sommers of Rhinelander. He was preceded in death by his parents. Services for Jeff will be held at a later date. The Carlson Funeral Home (715-369-1414/www.carlsonfh.com) is handling the arrangements for Jeff's family.
