Florence G Differt, age 103, of Rhinelander, died on July 4, 2011 at the Friendly Village Nursing Home, in Rhinelander. She was born on March 5, 1908 in Sault Ste. Marie, MI to Nelson and Rachel(Carl)Baker. Florence married Elroy Differt and they lived in Milwaukee for most of their married life until moving to the Lake Tomahawk area in the early 1990's. Florence enjoyed many activities but especially playing bridge and her knitting. She was a member of the Methodist Church of the Pines and the Methodist Women's Society. She was a former member of Milwaukee Service Club, Shorewood Womans Club, Wauwatosa Womens Club and the Golden Rule Chapter of the Eastern Star. She is survived by her son Richard(Nancy)Differt of Lake Tomahawk, WI, her grandchildren Brian, Scott and Randy, her great grandchildren Nikki, Kent, Cory, Andrew and Cody, her great great grandchildren Kayla, Carter and Destiny. Florence was preceded in death by her husband Elroy in 1997, a sister and four brothers. Florence will be entombed in the Wisconsin Memorial Park in Brokkfield, WI on Monday, July 13, 2011.
