Patrick T. Dineen, age 57, of Rhinelander, died on June 20, 2010 in Rhinelander. He was born on April 1, 1953 in Stevens Point, WI to Norman and Elizabeth(Whitman)Dineen. Pat's family moved to Rhinelander where he then attended schools graduating from the Rhinelander High School in 1971. Pat then moved to Milwaukee where he attended college. After his schooling he was employed in sales, mainly advertising, for many years in the Milwaukee area. Pat returned to Rhinelander in 2008 and has lived here since. Pat was a people person. He was always happiest when he was around family and friends. He enjoyed volunteering his time and was involved with Downtown Rhinelander Incorporated in a number of capacities his favorite being the Santa's Visit. He was the newly elected President of the Oneida County Fair Planning committee. His other true love was his dachsunds Lisa, Libby & Cash. He is survived by his sisters Kathy Dineen of Madison, WI, Peggy(Mike)Peltier of Zimmerman, MN and Mary(Mark)Willis of Medford, WI, his brother Mike Dineen of Madison, WI, eleven nieces and nephews and four great nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents. Visitation for Pat will be held on Tuesday, June 29, 2010 from 11:00 - 1:00 PM at the Carlson Funeral Home. A memorial service will be held at 1:00 PM on Tuesday, June 29, 2010 at the Carlson Funeral Home with Father John Gerritts officiating. Interment will be in St. Stephen's Catholic Cemetery in Stevens Point, WI. In lieu of flowers a memorial is being established in Pat's name and can be directed to his family.
