Sidney Whittaker, age 89 of Rhinelander, died Sunday, February 21, 2010, at Friendly Village Nursing Home. He was born on September 27, 1920, in Owatonna, Minnesota to Carl and Lillian (Campany) Whittaker. Sidney was employed at resorts in the St. Germain area and enjoyed reading; especially Westerns. Sidney is survived by extended family and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents and two brothers, Webster and Wilbert. Graveside services and burial for Sidney will be held at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, February 24, 2010, at Northland Memorial Park.
