Margaret Jonsson, age 96, died on November 3, 2009 at the Lillian Kerr Health Care Center in Phelps, WI. She was born on December 10, 1912 in Chicago, Illinois to Nels and Johannah(Nelson)Ostrom. In 1945 Margaret moved with her husband Arvid "Ted" Jonsson to the Rhinelander area where they owned and operated the Rustic Lodge on Muskellunge Lake. They operated the lodge as a fishing/hunting camp for quite a number of years. For a nine year period they also ran the camp for deaf children. Margaret was an active member of the First United Methodist Church in Rhinelander, the Gideons and the Headwaters Christian Youth Group. Margaret is survived by her daughter Ruth Ann (George)Hull of Jacksonville, IL, her two step grandchildren Tim Hull and Rodney(Parian)Hull, her two step great grandchildren Jordan and Landin, nieces, nephews and many friends. She was preceded in death by her husband on August 13, 1993, her daughter Mary Jane Hull, and her two brothers Elmer and Kenneth Ostrom. Family graveside services will be held at the Newbold Cemetery. The Carlson Funeral Home (715-369-1414/ www.carlsonfh.com) is handling the arrangements for the Jonsson family.
