Ynetta F. Towne, age 72, of Rhinelander, died on October 3, 2009 at the St. Mary's Hospital in Rhinelander. She was born on August 22, 1937 in Newberry, MI. Ynetta attended schools in Newbury graduating from the Newberry High School in 1955. She married Rudy Towne in 1964 in Wakefield, MI. After a couple of years in the Norhtwoods they moved to Waukesha, WI where Ynetta was employed as a therapy aid for the Waukesha Memorial Hospital for over 30 years. After her retirement they returned to the Rhinelander area where she has lived since. Ynetta enjoyed watching her "pet" deer and cardinals each day and any other wildlife that strolled through the yard. Her greatest joy came from the time spent with her grandchildren. Ynetta is survived by her husband Rudy of Rhinelander, her son Scott(Ann)Towne of Dousman, WI, her four grandchildren Joshua(Angela)Towne, Mitchell Towne, Heather(Stephan)Williams and Amanda Towne, her two great grandchildren Caleb and Maria Lynn Towne, her two sisters Wanda Lewis and Theresa(Ray)Simons both of Michigan, her two brothers Allen Bradley of Washington and Sonny Bradley on Michigan, her nieces, nephews and many friends. in addition to her parents, Ynetta was preceded in death by her son Gerald Towne and a brother Vernon Bradley. A memorial service for Ynetta will be held at the Carlson Funeral Home on Wednesday, October 7, 2009 at 11:00 AM.
