Roland "Roy" Russell of Rhinelander passed away on Sunday, August 16, 2009, at the age of 80. He was born on June 20, 1929, in Rhinelander to Fred and Anna (Chagnon) Russell. Roy is survived by his wife, Patsy; a son, Rick (Dawn) Russell of Reno, NV; two daughters, Rhonda (T.J.) Dunn of Rhinelander and Tammy (Bill) Bokern of Wauwatosa, WI; four grandchildren; one great grandson; and a sister, Ruth Jackson of Lake Luzerne, NY. He was preceded in death by his parents, eight sisters, and four brothers. At Roy's request, there will be no funeral.
