Myrnabelle B. Scheller, age 77, of Rhinelander, died on June 9, 2009, in Rhinelander, at her daughter's home. She was born on March 5, 1932 in Whittlesey, WI to Robert and Meta(Thomsen)Klemm. She attended schools in that area graduating from the Rib Lake High School in 1950. God answered Myrna's prayer in 1952 when she graduated from the St. Joseph's Nursing School in Marshfield, WI. It was also in November of 1952 in Marshfield, that she married Robert Scheller. Myrna loved nursing and later became an instructor herself at the Mid State Technical College in Marshfield. It was there that she began, and was the first instructor, of the Medical Assistant Program. The program grew over the years further answering Myrna's prayer to serve others. Unfortunately, health issues forced an early retirement for Myrna but she continued to touch many lives in the health care field, only now as a patient. She was known to tease staff and always exhibited a good sense of humor. She enjoyed knitting, crafting, dolls and miniatures. She listed her happiest times however, as those spent with her family, especially with her grandchildren. Myrna is survived by her daughter Susan(Kevin)Scheller Kirby of Rhinelander, her two grandchildren Shannon Kirby of Duluth, MN and Scott Kirby of Rhinelander, her sister June(Delbert)Brandner of Medford, WI, her three brothers Frederick(Roberta)Klemm of Fremont, CA, Earl Klemm of Milwaukee, WI and Emery(Shirley)Klemm of Menomonee Falls, WI, many nieces, nephews and friends. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Robert on June 20, 2006, her daughter Peggy Louise Scheller, two sisters Hazel Russell and Virginia Brahmer and three brothers Dr. Eugene, Ralph and Oliver Klemm. Funeral services for Myrna will be held on Saturday, June 13, 2009 at 10:00 AM at the Immanuel Evangelical Lutheran Church in Rhinelander. Jill Kusek and Sandy Hamburg will officiate. Visitation will be from 4:00-7:00 PM on Friday, June 12, 2009 at the Carlson Funeral Home in Rhinelander and from 9:00 AM until just prior to the services on Saturday at the church. In lieu of flowers, there will be a memorial established in Myrna's name and any kindness' that way can be directed to her daughter Susan.
