JoAnn Friday, age 69 of Rhinelander, died Saturday, May 16, 2009. She was born on November 25, 1939, in Eagle River, WI to George and Edith Kolberg. JoAnn married Steven Friday on November 3, 1962, in Rhinelander. She was employed as a secretary for Allis Chalmers and then the U.S. Forest Service before taking time to raise her family. She returned to the workforce in the dietary department at Taylor Park Nursing Home until her retirement. JoAnn is survived by two sons, Darren (Jill) Friday of Rhinelander and Steven (Laurie) Friday of Neenah, WI; four grandchildren, Steven, Grace, Sarah, and Ashley; and a great grandson, Ethan. She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband, Steven on October 19, 2003. Private family services will be held.
