David Joel Huebner, age 64, of Rhinelander passed away on Sunday, May 3, 2009. He was born on July 3, 1944, in Rhinelander to Eldore and Glada (Dotter) Huebner. David graduated from Rhinelander High School in 1962 and then attended Michigan Tech University where he earned a degree in Chemistry; graduating in 1967. His education led him to move to Midland, Michigan where he spent much of his career working as a chemist for Dow Corning. David lived in Midland for 24 years where he raised two children before returning to Rhinelander in 1991. He enjoyed spending time with his family, and playing cards and guitar were among his hobbies. David brought his family much happiness and will be truly missed. David is survived by his mother, Glada Huebner of Rhinelander; a son, Brett Huebner of Livonia, MI; a daughter, Heather Hyatt of Ann Arbor, MI; four grandchildren, Chase, Kyla, Tyler, and Chloe; his siblings, Sharon, Jim, Tom, and Laura; and other extended family. He was preceded in death by his father, Eldore Huebner. A private memorial service for the family will be held.
