Charlotte Fredrickson, age 91, of Rhinelander, died on April 25, 2007 at the Friendly Village Nursing Home in Rhinelander.She was born on September 12, 1915 in Rhinelander to Oscar and Agnes(Anderson)Johnson. She was a lifelong resident of Rhinelander. Mrs. Fredrickson graduated from the Rhinelander High School in 1933. She married Carl Fredrickson in 1934 and he preceded her in death on March 18, 1981. She had been employed by Montgomery Wards for a number of years retiring in 1976. She was a lifelong and active member of the Immanuel Evangelical Lutheran Church. She was also active in the Eastern Star, the Boy Scouts, PTA and the Lake Thompson Asscoiation. Mrs. Fredrickson liked to cook, sew, knit, prepare special holiday meals, play cards and host family picnics at Lake Thompson. She was especially adept at preparing the fish and game which resulted from her late husband's passion for the out-of-doors. She is survived by her three sons Donald(Alice)Frederickson of Rhinelander, John(Ikuyo)Fredrickson of Kent, WA and Paul(Barbara)Fredrickson of Amherst Junction, WI, her brother Robert(Betty)Johnson of Madison, WI, 8 grandchildren, 8 great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. In addition to her husband she was also preceded in death by her parents, a son Thomas, who died of a birth defect at 16 years of age, a brother Richard K. Johnson in 1977 and her sister Norma Schellenger in 2007. Funeral services for Mrs. Fredrickson will be held at 11:00 AM at the Immanuel Evangelical Lutheran Church on Monday, April 30, 2007 with Reverend Norman Peterson officiating. Visitation will be from 10:00 AM until just prior to the services on Monday, April 30, 2007 at the Immanuel Evangelical Lutheran Church. Interment will be in the Forest Home Cemetery.
