Anna Wilmot, age 91, of Rhinelander, died Saturday, December 30, 2006, at Taylor Park Nursing Home. She was born on August 30, 1915, in Milwaukee, WI to Carl and Amelia (Henke) Arndt. Anna moved to Rhinelander at an early age and has resided here since. In addition to caring for her own family, Anna worked as a housekeeper. She enjoyed gardening; especially working with flowers. Anna is survived by her daughter, Nancy (Roy) Lechner of Rhinelander; two sons, David (Beverly) Wilmot and Gene (Judy) Wilmot both of Rhinelander; 13 grandchildren; 25 great grandchildren; three sisters, Helene Bachman of Milwaukee, Martha Smith of Rhinelander, and Edythe Sparks of Butler, WI; and a brother, William Arndt of Roselle, IL. She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband, Raymond Wilmot on May 28, 1976. Private family services will be held with inurnment in Forest Home Cemetery.
