Cloma Webb, age 82, of Rhinelander, died Thursday, August 18, 2005, at St. Mary's Hospital. She was born on July 5, 1923, in Crandon, WI to Bias and Winnie (Dean) Howard. Cloma was raised in the Crandon area and attended schools there. She married Ardis Webb on September 2, 1939, in Crandon. She assisted her husband in the operation of their family farm and together they raised their family. Following the death of Ardis in 1998, she moved to Rhinelander where she was a member of Grace Foursquare Church. Cloma will be fondly remembered for her hospitality, baking skills, prolific letter writing, her strong faith, and most of all for the love she shared with her family. She is survived by two daughters, Violet (Vern) Nyson of Fremont, Michigan and Yvonne (Michael) Goral of Seattle, Washington; a son, Jim (Naomi) Webb of Gulf Shores, Alabama; a special niece, Bonnie (Jim) Anderson of New Berlin, Wisconsin; 13 grandchildren; and 17 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Ardis on October 3, 1998, a daughter, Ruth Sharon Webb, a sister, Jewel, and a brother, Bud. Funeral services for Cloma will be at 5:30 p.m. on Friday, August 19, 2005, at Grace Foursquare Church in Rhinelander with Rev. Robert Messerli officiating. Visitation will be from 4:00 p.m. until the time of services on Friday at the church. Interment will be in Highland Memorial Park in Appleton, WI. Carlson Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.
