Arnold H. Schoeneck, age 99, of Rhinelander, died on June 12, 2005 at the Friendly Village Nursing Home. He was born on August 30, 1905 in Enterprise, WI to Julius and Linda(Kunze)Schoeneck. Arnold attended schools in Enterprise and then went to work for the Chicago-Northwestern Railroad at an early age. He had been employed by the railroad for almost 50 years at the time of his retirement. He was a lifelong resident of the Enterprise/Rhinelander area and he was a lifelong member of the St. John Evangelical Lutheran Church in Enterprise.
Arnold is survived by his cousins and he was preceded in death by his parents and a sister Amanda on January 14th of this year.
Visitation will be from 10-11AM with the funeral services following at 11:00 AM on Wednesday, June 15, 2005 at the St. John Evangelical Lutheran Church in Enterprise with the Reverend Neil Varnum officiating. Interment will be in the Enterprise Cemetery. A memorial will be established in Arnold's name for the St. John Evangelical Lutheran Church. The Carlson Funeral Home (715-369-1414/carlsonfh.com) is handling the arrangements for Arnold's family.
