Alma M. Ramsey, age 60, of Rhinelander, died on May 29, 2005 at the St. Mary's Hospital in Rhinelander. She was born on May 25, 1945 in Oak Creek, WI to George and Martha(Jentsch)Ferch. She attended schools in Oak Creek graduating from Oak Creek High School. She moved to Rhinelander in 1972 and was employed by Montgomery Wards, the Holiday Inn and the Claridge Motor Inn. Alma loved to travel and see the USA. She also enjoyed playing the nickel/penny slots at the different places she visited on their travels. She had many friends throughout the United States.
She is survived by her husband Gary of Rhinelander, her daughter Shawn of Rhinelander, a son Dr. Patrick(Carla)Ramsey of Birmingham, AL, her granddaughter Ellie Ramsey, her grandson Ethan Ramsey, mother Martha Ferch of Tomahawk, WI, and her two brothers George Jentsch of Tomahawk and Fredrick(Gertrude)Jentsch of Colgate, WI. She was preceded in death by her father George Ferch.
Funeral services will be held at a later date. A memorial is being established in Alma's name for the Ministry Hospice Program in Rhinelander. The Carlson Funeral Home (369-1414/carlsonfh.com) is handling the arrangements for Alma's family. |
