Irene Luella Musson, age 82, of Rhinelander, died Wednesday, April 13, 2005, at her home. She was born on May 27, 1922, in Heafford Junction, WI to Lloyd and Linnie (Lytle) Phelps. Survivors include her four children, George Kojis, Wanganui, New Zealand, Dawn (Randy) Arnett, Wausau, Jeff (Mary) Musson, Wausau, and Shane (Mandy) Musson, Rhinelander; twelve grandchildren; eight great grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews. Prior to retirement, Irene worked as a cook in several local restaurants including Holiday Acres, the Rhinelander Cafe, Holiday Inn, and the Al-Gen Supper Club. Following retirement, Irene was a regular visitor to local nursing homes where she provided company, conversation, and great treats to the residents. Irene was also a fantastic cook. Irene will be sadly missed by her family and many friends. A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. on Saturday, April 16, 2005, at the First United Methodist Church with Rev. Doris Hanson officiating. Inurnment will be in Forest Home Cemetery. Carlson Funeral Home is assisting Irene's family with the arrangements.
